Armed Forces Spouses Project - Information Day

This is a closed event, specifically designed for spouses of serving personnel. We are currently taking expressions of interest from those who may wish to participate.

What is this event about?

The Armed Forces Covenant and Adult and Community Learning (ACL) services of Warwickshire County Council (WCC) are working in collaboration with the armed forces to provide a unique, one off, project for 20 Armed Forces spouses to improve their employment opportunities and/or consider their potential in developing their own business.

This project is funded through the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, ACL and WCC.

This project is suitable for anyone considering things such as:

* I want to do something more with my life (dreams, aspirations, plans)

* What can I do in terms of employment/starting a business whilst being an Armed Forces spouse?

* How do I improve my employment prospects?

* How do I make the most of my transferable skills?

* How do I go about setting up my own business?

* How can I turn my idea/hobby into a business?

This is a unique one-off opportunity to have 1:1 coaching and group work sessions focusing on you and your aspirations. We are only able to offer 20 places so we need to make sure places go to those who will make the most of this opportunity and progress from it.

We need to know who would be interested in taking part in this - who is able to commit to the time required, how we can provide the most appropriate support for you to take part and, as we are expecting to be over-subscribed, why you should be given this opportunity.

You would be most welcome to attend this event to find out more and how you can join.
