MAKE MATHS WORK FOR YOU – MULTIPLY PROGRAMME

Coventry Adult Education Service (CAES) proudly presents the Multiply Programme, offering free numeracy and financial literacy courses tailored to your individual needs. This programme aims to enhance your fundamental maths skills and unlock new possibilities in both your personal and professional life. The best part? There are no costs involved!

HOW WILL I LEARN?

The Multiply Programme adopts a flexible learning approach to accommodate your needs and preferences. The tutor will discuss the various options, which may include group classroom sessions, personalised one-on-one tuition, online learning, or a combination of these formats. In situations where it is more appropriate, your tutor may recommend that you join a community maths course, enrol in a GCSE programme, or participate in a functional skills class instead.

WHAT WILL I LEARN AND BE ASSESSED?

During enrolment, your dedicated tutor or a maths manager will assess your existing maths knowledge and skills, enabling them to create a customised learning plan exclusively for you. Throughout the course, your tutor will closely monitor your progress and make necessary adjustments to your plan. Regular assessments will measure your advancement, and your tutor will provide valuable feedback, placing emphasis on areas where you may require additional support. Upon completion, your tutor will reassess your knowledge and skills, showcasing your learning journey.

WHAT QUALIFICATION WILL I GET?

Please note that this course is non-accredited, meaning that you will not receive a formal qualification upon completion. However, should you wish to further improve your skills, you may consider progressing to another course that offers a recognised qualification such as GCSE or functional skills.

WHAT MATERIALS DO I NEED?

The specific materials needed for the course will be determined based on your individualised learning plan. It is recommended to consult your tutor during the initial session before purchasing any books or calculators. Access to a computer and the internet can greatly enhance your learning experience.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?

To enrol in the Multiply Programme, participants must be 19 years or older. The programme is particularly suitable for individuals without a Level 2 maths qualification (equivalent to GCSE grade C/4).
